From Me or I From Her (2003/2004)
This was my favorite album to write. Meghan and I got married in 2002. And I got a real job / career. Most of these songs are about one or the other. I hated having a career, and working a real job. That's where all the sad songs come from. But a few are happy. This was a really long album. At first a 2 disc 16 song beast (beast because a lot of the songs are long long long). But I narrowed it down, cut a few off, and made one album out of it. No one really got this album. I gave it to a few people, but I didn't really want anyone to have it. I already went through all that crap before. Wondering if people would really like, if people could just forget about that stupid fing 333 album, and if people could accept me as a good songwriter. All of these reasons, and the uncertainty, and anxiety associated with it, I decided this would be my final public album and that putting myself out there wasn't worth what I was getting back. The last song I wrote was wirtten in 2004. It is nearly 4 years later, and I don't even know where my guitar is. I guess that's sad?
